Thursday 17th January sees the beginning of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. Next Sunday 20th January, as part of the week, Fr. Taemin will preach at St. James the Less and in the evening there will be the United Service, which this year will be at Castle Methodist Church at 6.30pm. Fr. Tony McKenty, parish priest at St. James the Less, will preach here on Sunday 27th January.

On Thursday 10th January, the Bishop of Chelmsford has called the Diocese
to a Day of Prayer for, Mission and Unity in the Church. We will remember this
at the Mass that day and there will be half an hour of silent prayer before Mass
with that intention. Please join us if you can and if that is not possible, pray
at home instead. Copies of the Bishop’s prayer for use on the day are at the back
of church.
